1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using the Accounting Simplified website and services, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

Client Responsibilities

• Cooperate fully in the performance of our services
• Maintain the confidentiality of our recommendations

Payment Terms

Invoices are due within 30 days of issue unless otherwise agreed. Late payments may incur interest charges at 1.5% per month. Services may be suspended if payment is overdue by 60 days or more.

Termination

Either party may terminate the engagement with written notice. Upon termination, the client remains liable for services rendered and expenses incurred through the termination date.

7. SARS Compliance Disclaimer

While we exercise reasonable care in preparing tax and compliance submissions, clients remain responsible for the accuracy of all information provided and ultimately responsible to SARS for compliance. We recommend clients review all submissions before they are filed.

8. Professional Privilege

Client communications with Accounting Simplified are subject to professional privilege. Clients should not disclose communications to third parties without our consent, as this may waive privilege protections.

9. Limitation on Engagement Scope

Our services do not constitute an audit, review, or compilation engagement unless explicitly stated. We do not undertake to discover fraud or illegal acts, and we cannot provide absolute assurance regarding financial accuracy.

10. Indemnification

The client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Accounting Simplified, its owners, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or costs arising from the client's use of our services or from any inaccurate information provided by the client.

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Johannesburg, South Africa.

12. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall first be subject to good faith negotiation between the parties. If negotiation fails, the dispute shall be resolved through arbitration in accordance with South African arbitration law.

13. Modifications to Terms

Accounting Simplified may revise these Terms of Service for our website at any time without notice. By using this website, you are agreeing to be bound by the then current version of these Terms of Service.
